On my way home on the bus last night I noticed a poster from Metro Transit advertising free rides on Metro today in celebration of Earth Day. What a great idea to let people explore the bus system at their own pace.I was planning to tell you all about it here today, but I see there is a really nice piece all written up about it over on Seattle Metroblogs. According to their writeup you can also get a free ride today from Community Transit, Everett Transit, Pierce Transit and Sound Transit.
Save the earth - go ride a bus!
